SERIES TABATA STRENGTH™

 

Series Tabata Strength™ is a 30-minute high intensity training program for all fitness levels, using kettlebells or dumbbell weights.

  • Functional mobility warm-up

  • Four rounds using Tabata's strict timing framework

  • Three-minute core challenge

  • Cool-down using moves from Series Core Flow™

TABATA PROTOCOL STRUCTURE

We exercise at maximum intensity (VO2max > 120%) for twenty seconds, and rest for ten seconds, for eight intervals, totalling four minutes per round.

BASIC EXERCISES, PRIMAL MOVEMENTS

Simple, functional motions improve movement quality and provide a multi-planar stimulus.

PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD

By varying our exercises, we ensure that muscle groups and movement patterns are targeted in different ways, allowing your body to adapt and grow.

PERIPHERAL HEART ACTION TRAINING

Our exercises alternate between the upper and lower body. Combined with the VO2max push, this technique keeps heart levels elevated and helps achieve more repetitions.

VO2MAX INTERVAL TRAINING

We test speed and reactivity, pushing your body to the right levels.

KETTLEBELLS

Kettlebells provide an extra optional challenge to strength and mobility, helping to build up tendons and ligaments for tougher joints.

EXPERT COACHING AND GUIDANCE

Our Coach training workshops and videos have been carefully researched and will never leave you unprepared. We coach - we don't shout instructions - and focus on developing your skills, knowledge and performance. Our pre-choreographed videos help you to focus on your clients without worrying about the next move. Or become an advanced Coach and learn to self-choreograph your own classes. It's a team effort the entire way.
